Simone Biles

Simone Biles, a gymnast from the United States, took home her 20th world championship medal. the world championships. Team USA won their seventh world title consecutively at Antwerp Belgium's championship on the 4th of October. She has won 33 medals and has the highest number of medals to ever compete in gymnastics. That also includes the Olympics. Just three days before, Biles was able to land a difficult vault that nobody else has performed on an international arena. The feat, previously known by the Yurchenko Double Pike Vault, has become known as the Biles II. On October 6, the world record-breaking athlete will take part in an all-around event for her own. It will be her first event on the international stage since 2021. Simone, born in Columbus Ohio in 1997 was taken away from the home of her mother because of an addiction. She and her siblings were placed in foster care. The maternal grandparents of her Air Force veteran Ron and his wife who retired as a nurse Nellie stepped in to take care of the kids legally adopting Simone at 6 years old together with her little sister Adria. Simone along with her other siblings were taken in by their maternal aunt.
